Dispensed in a 30mL, plastic, multi-dose vial.  

Designed solely for parenteral use (drug administration by intravenous, 
intramuscular, or subcutaneous injection) following the addition of drugs 
that require dilution or must be dissolved in an aqueous vehicle prior to 
injecting. 

Hospira  Bacteriostatic Water for Injection, USP is: chemically designated H2O and 
is a sterile, non-pyrogenic preparation of water containing 0.9% (9mg/mL) 
of benzyl alcohol added as a preservative and has a pH of 5.7 (4.5 to 7.0). 

The semi-rigid vial is fabricated from a specially formulated polyolefin. It is 
a copolymer of ethylene and propylene. The safety of the plastic has been 
confirmed according to USP biological standards for plastic containers. It 
requires no vapor barrier to maintain the proper labeled volume.

Handling Notice

All reconstitution solution products are stored at Controlled Room Temperature (CRT) prior to shipment. Once an order leaves our facility, we are unable to control the environmental conditions encountered during transit.

Although prolonged exposure to excessive heat or freezing temperatures is not recommended, brief exposure to normal shipping temperature fluctuations is generally not expected to affect product integrity due to the product’s stable formulation.

To help maintain product quality, we recommend retrieving your package as soon as possible after delivery and avoiding situations where it may remain in mailboxes, on porches, or inside delivery vehicles for extended periods during periods of extreme heat or cold.
